My hope is that they keep it open and competitive. Google is on the right track with Chrome (open and competitive). Great post.

I place my faith in hackers. And I stick it to the man (apple), whenever I can. The iPhone makes so many things workable that never were, like web browsing, uploading photos to flickr, email. They were technically possible before, but never actually effortless enough to really work for me. That is the subtle thing that doesn&#039;t turn up in the specs, that makes all the stupid stupid stuff they do (like still not allowing cut and paste) bearable.</description>
